what is carnation + motia?
Carnation + Motia is the brainchild of artist Saadia Pervaiz.
Made to combat newly found isolation since entering adulthood, the blog was created as a sanctum sanctorum for creativity, mindfulness, and release.
Saadia named this haven after two flowers she grew up loving. Carnation, which was always abundant in her childhood gardens, and motia, a jasmine bush her mother grew to remind herself of Pakistan.
